OT may be useful in helping your child learn to use both hands (fine motor skills) to play and to do self help skills such as assisting in dressing, washing, and feeding themselves. OT can be helpful in providing Feeding Therapy support for children who have difficulty eating because they are sensitive to different textures and tastes of food. OTs also provide support to parents of children who have sensory integrations problems and processing problems as in Autism.
